At this time of COVID-19 lockdowns, panic buying and general insanity, we could all do with a bit of aloha. Aloha of course is the traditional Hawaiian greeting, but it also has many other meanings and uses including love, peace and compassion.
If you need a little aloha, you can download this to 3D print for free from Thingiverse, Pinshape, Cults or MyMiniFactory.
This was actually designed to stick on our front door which is freshly painted in a very tropical blue. The design process was very simple:
- Create the outline in Adobe Illustrator.
- Export as a DXF file.
- Open in Solidworks.
- Extrude.
- Export as a STL file for 3D printing.
Print it large, print it small, and spread some aloha vibes.
